Why We Built This

Every major resume builder on the market today follows the same playbook: offer a free editor, then lock PDF export behind a paywall, watermark every download, or require a monthly subscription to access basic templates. We found this model predatory for job seekers who are already under financial pressure during a career transition.

Resume Creation takes the opposite approach. The entire tool set — AI-powered summaries, ATS-friendly templates, job description keyword matching, unlimited PDF exports — is completely free. No credit card, no signup, no data harvesting. We fund the project through optional donations rather than holding your resume ransom.

Vercel-Inspired Design

Our visual language draws from Vercel's stark, minimalist aesthetic: a black-and-white duet on crisp canvas, generous whitespace, thin hairline borders, subtle shadows, and a clean sans-serif typographic hierarchy. There are no tacky gradients, no stock photography, and no distracting animations. The design puts your content front and center, because a resume tool should disappear once you start writing.

Privacy-First Architecture

Every byte of resume data you enter stays in your browser's localStorage. There are no cloud servers storing your work history, no accounts to hack, no third-party analytics tracking your job search. When you export a PDF, the file is generated client-side and downloaded directly to your machine. We never see, store, or transmit your personal information unless you explicitly contact us through the support form.
