Resume Creation is designed to minimize data collection. When you use the Resume Builder, all resume content — your name, contact details, work history, education, skills, and any other information you enter — is stored exclusively in your browser's localStorage. We do not collect, transmit, or store this data on any server.

The only information we may receive is standard web analytics data (pages visited, browser type, approximate geographic region) collected through privacy-respecting analytics that do not use cookies or track you across sites. We use this aggregated data solely to understand which features are most useful and to improve the product.

2. No Cloud Storage

Your resume drafts are never uploaded to cloud servers. They remain on your device until you choose to clear your browser data or delete them manually through the Resume Builder's reset option. Because your data never leaves your machine, we cannot access, read, or recover your resumes under any circumstance.

3. No Third-Party Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, trade, or license your personal information to third parties. We do not share your resume data with recruiters, staffing agencies, AI training companies, or marketing networks. Your job search is your private business.

4. Email Communications

If you contact us via the contact form or send an email to support@realresumebuilder.com, we will receive your email address and any information you voluntarily include in your message. We use this information solely to respond to your inquiry. We do not add your email to marketing lists or share it with third parties.

5. Cookies

Resume Creation does not use tracking cookies, advertising cookies, or third-party analytics cookies. We may use a minimal first-party cookie to remember your theme preference (light or dark mode). You can disable cookies in your browser settings without affecting the core resume builder functionality.

6. Data Retention & Deletion

Since your resume data is stored locally on your device, we have no ability to retain or delete it on our end. You can delete all your resume data at any time by clearing your browser's localStorage or clicking the Reset button inside the Resume Builder. To clear analytics data associated with your session, simply close your browser.

7. Children's Privacy

Resume Creation is not directed at individuals under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will take appropriate steps to remove that information.
