A straightforward place to build and review a resume

Why it was created

Resume tools can make the layout look finished before the writing is clear. Real Resume Builder was created around a different sequence: give people structured fields, let them see the document while they edit, explain what a readiness check found, and make the final PDF easy to inspect.

The project is intentionally focused. It does not promise a job, claim access to an employer's private ATS, or replace careful review of the job description and the resume content.

How privacy works

Resume drafts are stored in your browser's local storage and the PDF is generated in the browser. That local-first design is different from the contact form: when you send support a message, the information in that message is transmitted so it can be delivered and answered. Public content pages may also load Analytics and AdSense services; the Privacy Policy explains the distinction.

Real Resume Builder is developed and maintained by the Real Resume Builder team. The team focuses on browser-based resume tools and practical document-parsing guidance, with a mission to make professional resume building accessible, transparent, and privacy-first for resume data.

We believe that job seekers should have direct, straightforward tools to write clear resumes without their personal information being collected, sold, or gated behind recurring subscription fees.
