1. Resume drafts and PDF generation

When you use the builder, the resume information you enter, such as your name, contact details, experience, education, skills, projects, and settings, is stored in your browser's local storage. The builder and its PDF export run in the browser. We do not receive a copy of your resume merely because you edit or download it.

Clearing browser storage, using a different browser or device, or resetting local drafts can remove access to locally stored work. Export and keep a backup of any resume you need.

2. Uploaded PDFs and ATS checking

The PDF checker processes an uploaded resume in the browser to recover text and produce ATS Readiness guidance. The uploaded file is not intentionally sent to our resume service for analysis. The tool may display extracted text and findings on your device so you can review what was detected.

Do not upload a document if you are not authorized to process it. Remove any extra sensitive information before uploading when it is not needed for your review.

3. Support messages

If you submit the contact form, the name, optional email, subject, and message are sent through the site's contact endpoint to the mail delivery service used by the operator. This information is used to respond to the request, investigate a bug, or consider feedback. It is not used to create a resume profile.

4. Analytics

The site loads Google Analytics on its pages to understand page visits, traffic sources, and general product usage. Analytics providers may process technical information such as browser, device, approximate location, and interactions according to their own policies and configuration. Browser storage used for the theme and asset refresh is separate from resume content sent to support.

5. Advertising and cookies

Google AdSense code is loaded only on public content pages. We do not place ad units on the resume editor, PDF generation flow, ATS upload tool, dashboard, Job Match workspace, or error screens. If advertising is served, Google and other third-party vendors may use cookies, web beacons, IP addresses, or similar identifiers to serve, measure, and personalize advertising. Third parties may place and read cookies on a visitor's browser as a result of ad serving.

You can manage personalized advertising through Google Ads Settings and learn about broader choices at aboutads.info. Depending on your location, additional consent or privacy controls may be required before certain cookies or advertising technologies are used.

6. Sharing and retention

We do not sell resume drafts. Local resume data remains under your browser's control. Support messages may be retained for as long as reasonably needed to answer the request, maintain support records, or protect the service. Analytics and advertising providers process data under their own retention rules.

7. Your choices

• Clear local resume drafts through the builder or your browser's site data controls.
• Do not submit optional contact information when it is not needed for a reply.
• Use browser privacy controls and the linked Google settings to manage analytics or advertising choices.
• Contact us if you have a question about a support message you submitted.

8. Changes and contact
