Terms of Use

1. The service

Real Resume Builder provides a browser-based resume editor, templates, ATS Readiness guidance, job description matching, informational content, and PDF export. The service is currently offered without a required account or payment. Features may change, be unavailable temporarily, or be limited by the browser and device you use.

2. Your content

You keep ownership of the resume content you enter. You are responsible for having the right to use the information, names, logos, and other material you add. Do not use the service to create unlawful, deceptive, abusive, or privacy-invasive content.

Because drafts are stored locally, you are responsible for keeping backups of important resumes and for protecting access to your device and browser.

3. ATS Readiness and job matching

ATS Readiness is a heuristic review of structure, text recovery, skills, evidence, contact fields, and readability. Job Match compares language with a job description. Neither feature accesses an employer's private ATS, guarantees parsing by a particular employer, predicts a hiring outcome, or replaces your own review. You remain responsible for the accuracy of every claim in your resume.

4. PDF export

Exported files are generated for your use. Check the final PDF for page count, text selection, dates, links, spelling, and visual layout before sending it to an employer. Follow the file type and submission instructions in the job posting.

5. Acceptable use

You must not interfere with the site's operation, attempt unauthorized access, overload its endpoints, reverse engineer protected services, scrape private data, or use the contact endpoint for spam. We may restrict access when necessary to protect users, the service, or third parties.

6. Ownership of the site

The site's code, visual design, branding, original guides, and template implementations belong to the site operator or their respective licensors. These terms give you permission to use the public service; they do not transfer ownership of those components.

7. Disclaimers and limitation

The service is provided on an as-available basis. We work to keep the builder useful and accurate, but we do not promise uninterrupted access, perfect rendering on every device, a particular ATS result, an interview, or employment. To the extent permitted by applicable law, the operator is not responsible for indirect loss resulting from use of, or inability to use, the service.

8. Privacy and third-party services

Your use of the service is also covered by the Privacy Policy. Public pages may use analytics and advertising services, while resume editing and PDF generation are designed to run locally. External links and services have their own terms and privacy policies.

9. Changes and contact
